Infant massage is continually recognized by pediatricians as a proven way to soothe a child and stimulate growth. Studies have shown that infant massage promotes immune and nervous system health, improves digestion, helps to eliminate gas and colic, helps baby relax and that's just the beginning! In this course you will learn the difference between Newborn and Baby Massage and how to employ both methods for calming and facilitating healing the child. This course includes instruction on Baby Reflexology and Aromatherapy for your child. You will learn how to use these methods to relieve colic, colds and irregular sleeping patterns. This course requires hands-on practice and regular participation. It is not meant to medically treat nor diagnose. You should always consult your doctor in case of any medical issues.  Course Description This course was designed with parents and doulas (birth assistants) in mind. If you're a new mom or dad or even if you have older children, this is an excellent course to help you bond better, ease tensions and stress, and increase immunitary functions of your little one's body. You will learn how to create a special time for just you and your little one through communication with love through your full attention and caring. Baby Massage helps Dad feel more confident in his new role and helps mom relax right along with baby! If your baby is colicky or fussy a lot, the solution is here!
If you are a Doula and looking to add services to your practice, this course will show you how to do baby massages and thus you can teach your clients. Aromatherapy is a wonderful holistic tool we can use to help our babies maintain or reestablish good health. |
